I read with interest your piece online regarding the result of last night's S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants and wondered whether you may be able to draw attention to the below on your website to help us raise consumer awareness?

Action Against Hunger, the official charity partner of the S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2009, is proud to announce the launch of its eBay charity auction, giving food lovers from around the world the opportunity to bid for meals and experiences donated by many of the internationally renowned restaurants featured in this year’s list.

Donations include 'once in a lifetime' auction prizes from the likes of London restaurants Hakkasan, Nobu & St John and Rene Redzepi's Noma in Copenhagen. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the vital lifesaving work of international humanitarian organisation, Action Against Hunger.Visit myworld.ebay.co.uk/actionagainsthungeruk to view the full list of participating restaurants.

The auction is split over two allotments. The first features restaurants from the UK, France and Italy amongst other countries and began on 21st April at staggered times and will last 10 days and concluding on 1st May. The second allotment features restaurants from the USA and Spain, amongst others, and begins on 4th May to coincide with The S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ celebratory event being held in New York, ending 14th May.

If you require any further information, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,
Kathleen
