Ah, I almost forgot some hotels where you can settle down for the evening. 

Brown’s Hotel, the Ritz, Claridge’s, and the Connaught – but if you find the prices violent, my oh-so-British alternative is called the Durrants Hotel; from 125 £ (158 €) for a single room.
