Paris,
Well, I certainly won’t be the only one singing the praises of this new restaurant opened by Julien Fouin (formerly of the magazine Régal). And that’s as it should be. Because this place is just plain good; charming, as it aspires to be.
Yeu Island albacore tuna (“non-threatened and marinated”), baby sardines, lomo iberico bellota, a country terrine, pork belly confit, wild shrimp from Madagascar (photo) with pesto, wild lavender and sweet potato purée, a super fruity, 24 month-aged Comté.…and, of course, the usual profusion of “in” wines (Bizeul, Ostertag). It was a wonderful evening.
Closed Tuesdays. 101, rue Vieille du Temple, 75003 Paris (01.42.74.44.32)
